Rant ‘n’ Stance! ACORN’s Trick on Treat Night

Hi peeps. The Old Silly here. Sorry to have to do this, I know Adam Atom’s fans will be disappointed, but I promise he’ll be back next week. This Rant ‘n’ Stance post has to go up NOW, so people can be informed what kind of skullduggery is going on right under our having-been-decieved-and-lied-to-once-again-noses by our government. Informed in time to do something about it.
Recently I was listening to the Laura Ingraham Show, and she had Michelle Bachman on as a guest, talking about recent developments – leaks, really – with regard to ACORN. Bachman’s webiste is -http://www.Michellebachman.com I suggest you go there to get the full run down on what is happening with our tax dollars/federally funded, heinous, criminal, and fraud of an outfit called ACORN.
As you may have read, I posted about ACORN last month, exposing how they were in cahoots with the illegally immigrated young girls from El Salvador sex slave trade and prositution rings going on in our country. And in that post there was a video showing how two journalists, posing as a pimp and a prostitute, walked into an ACORN office asking for assistance in their illegal enterprise and were given it – freely and with encouragement. I wasn’t the only one screaming about this, thank god, Fox News, Glenn Beck, Laura Ingraham, infowars.com with Alex Jones, many other shows and media outlets, and millions of outraged citizens raised their voices against such corruption. And it worked. Well, we thought it worked anyway, when congress quickly voted to cut federal funding to ACORN, pending an investigation. An investigation, by the way, that his still to even so much as start – let alone be done.
But we were decieved. There’s an old saying, “What the bold print giveth, the fine print taketh away.” Hidden in the legaleze wording of the motion to cut funding was the sneaky little fact that on October 31, midnight, the federal funding of ACORN will resume.
Yup. But folks, that ain’t hardly all. During the Ingram/Bachman interview it was revealed, that-
- ACORN has always been in bed with the Federal Government
- Halloween night at midnight, ACORN will be refunded
- The funding cut was never intended to be, and will not be, for more than one month
- More corruption: Our government forced banks into alliances with ACORN years ago
- Memos were sent to all banks that they would be shut down if they did not make loans for ACORN to high risk, low income, non-creditworthy people.
- OR, if they wanted to not be forced into making those loans, they were given the option to “donate” money to ACORN. Effectively a payola scam, nothing less than bald faced blackmail, to put banks in a lose-lose situation where they either had to cough up some cash or lower their lending standards.
Bottom line? Banks either pony up some dough to help fund ACORN or give out loans that will in most cases go bad, causing more banks to go under, giving rise for more need for government bailouts, resulting in higher taxes, leading to more people unable to make ends meet, needing more loans to survive, and round and around and around we go on this maddening, ludicrous round robin of downward spiraling mismanaged economy we have as the end result of idiots and criminals at the helm of our government.
What can you do? Get on your phones and melt the phone lines in Capital Hill! Tell your congress people you want ACORN’s funding ended, permanently, and NOW! To sign the petition now circulating, go to this page on Bachman’s website.
There is still time. We can do this. If we don’t, when our little ones are out trick or treating on Halloween later this month, getting their jollies and loading their sacks with goodies, the biggest trick of all will be played at midnight on the American people - by its own government.

I shouldn’t be stunned at the level of corruption, because we see it rear its ugly head more often than not.
